How much does a custom Keybored cost?

In general, a fully custom keeb may be around $250-350 (does not include the commission fee or shipping fee to your desired location). Builds like these are considered "budget builds", but make no mistake, a budget keyboard does not mean it's "bad", it just means the materials used are more readily available in bulk and materials used to construct the keeb may be considered thinner than premium constructions.

What most affects the price of a custom keeb is actually the selected keyboard kit that makes the foundation of a build and the keycaps you decide to select. A keeb's anatomy is made up of 4 primary parts: keyboard kit, stabilizers, switches, keycaps. Here is an example price range for each part:

Keyboard Kit: $100 - $400+
Stabilizers: $12 - $25
Switches: $30 - $60+ (this is determined heavily by the size of the keyboard you'd like)
Keycaps: $50 - $250+

WHAT IS A COMMISSION FEE?

This is the fee we will charge in addition to the cost of materials. The fee will be between $75-$100, depending on the complexity of the build. This fee will be communicated and agreed upon before the start of any build! Every build will likely include some classic keeb modifications to improve performance, which will be on the house.

The commission fee will need to be paid before the completed build is shipped to your location.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

If all selected items for the custom keeb is in stock, the typical turn around from ordering the parts, to reaching your doorstep (within the United States), should be about 3-5 weeks. Apes and clients outside of the United States will take longer depending on location.

Sometimes, certain keyboards will be in "group buy" stage, which means they are products that are essentially in pre-order, and may not be ready to be shipped for months at a time. Of course, I will be working closely with you to make sure the delivery timeline works with you before any commitments are made!

How do I PAY FOR MY KEEB?

Materials: We're currently only taking payments through Venmo. You can find me here: @Imperia_boredkeebs
Commission Fee: We accept payment via Venmo, ETH, or ApeCoin!
Shipping cost to your location: Once the cost of shipping to your location is determined, we will also be taking payment via Venmo.

WHAT'S THE cancellation / refund POLICY?

Commission requests can be cancelled within 72 hours, beginning from the time we respond back from your request (we will respond within 24 hours).

Once parts are ordered, commission requests can still be cancelled within 24 hours from time of purchase and approval. This will be followed by us returning your money through Venmo.

No refunds or cancellations will be accepted post 24 hours from the time the parts are ordered.
